Natural Style Open Kitchen Bakery Layout

The overall style of the bakery is based on the theme of "natural transparency". It does not use exaggerated colors or shapes, but selects low-saturation light green, warm wood color and neat black metal as the three main colors: light green wall small square bricks and grille wall panels bring a fresh and natural feeling. The ceiling, cabinets and shelves in the natural wood color balance the cold-toned tiles, filling the space with warmth. The black metal display cabinet frame and glass partitions add a modern touch to the soft space, avoiding an overly sweet and cloying atmosphere.

Open kitchen

Unlike traditional bakeries that hide their kitchens behind the doors, this store completely exposes the baking operation area to the customers' view: the stainless steel commercial ovens, proofing boxes, and operation counters are clearly visible. The process of the staff kneading the dough and baking the bread, as well as the aroma of the freshly baked bread, all become the best brand promotion. This "visible production" not only allays customers' concerns about food safety, but also turns baking into an "immersive performance", allowing customers to feel the full warmth of daily life while waiting for the bread.

The overall circulation of the space is also completely designed around the customer experience: when customers enter the store, they first face the open kitchen and are attracted by the aroma of bread. Then, along the circular/linear display area, browse freshly baked bread, cakes and desserts, and packaged foods in sequence; Finally, customers check out at the checkout counter at the end of the route. The entire process is smooth without any return trips, which not only enhances shopping efficiency but also immerses them in the atmosphere of baking throughout.

Green bar counter

The bar counter is placed at the end of the display area, which is exactly the route that customers must take after browsing all the products. They can check out without taking a detour, maximizing the shopping efficiency. Meanwhile, the bar counter ingeniously separates the kitchen operation area from the customers: it not only leaves sufficient space for the staff to operate but also does not block the view at all. The transparency of the open kitchen is not affected in the slightest. When customers stand at the cash register, they can still clearly see the production process in the kitchen.

The design of the bar counter is fully integrated with the theme of natural style: the main body uses light green vertical grilles that echo the wall, with a natural texture, fresh and healing. The warm and natural wood-colored countertop and cabinet body balance the coldness and hardness of the grille. The bottom is embedded with warm yellow ambient light strips, which enhance the layering of the space in the details. When the lights are turned on at night, the atmosphere is immediately maximized. Some of the bar counters are also printed with the brand name "KASA", in simple white font, which not only strengthens the brand identity but also does not disrupt the overall simplicity.

The design of the bar counter is fully tailored to the actual needs of the bakery: it integrates a cash register system (POS machine, receipt printer), and reserves sufficient operating countertop space to facilitate staff in packing bread and bagging for customers. Behind some of the bars, small baguette display racks have been set up, transforming the checkout counter from a mere checkout point into a showcase for brand products. This allows customers to still be attracted by the freshly baked baguettes while checking out, achieving "secondary consumption".

Display cabinets and shelves

  • Display cabinet design

Open freshly baked bread cabinet: Placed closest to the kitchen, it features an open design with glass partitions and multi-layered countertops for displaying freshly baked products such as baguettes, soft bread, and buns. The open design allows the aroma of bread to freely spread throughout the space. The freshly baked bread is steaming hot and can instantly catch the customers' attention. At the same time, the open structure makes it convenient for customers to take goods by themselves or for store staff to pick them up quickly, which improves the shopping efficiency.

Vertical refrigerated display cabinet: Made of black metal frame and ultra-white glass, with a multi-layer structure, it is used to store products that need to be kept fresh, such as cakes, mousse, and refrigerated beverages. The transparency of the ultra-white glass enables customers to clearly see the details of each cake. The black frame is simple and does not steal the spotlight, fully highlighting the product itself. At the same time, the vertical design saves space, allowing small stores to accommodate a sufficient number of products.

Central island/Wall-mounted comprehensive display cabinet: Placed in the middle of the space or against the wall, it features an arc-shaped or linear multi-layer structure for displaying various types of bread and pastries. The bottom of the display cabinet features a light green grille consistent with the bar counter, while the top is edged in a natural wood color, perfectly blending with the overall style. Warm light strips are embedded inside the cabinet to highlight the products, perfectly presenting the golden color of the bread and the creamy texture of the cake, making them look more appetizing.

display shelf

  • Shelf display

The shelves are made of natural wood-colored layer boards and light green backboards, with clear layering: the upper layer holds packaged bread gift boxes and souvenirs, which are suitable for customers to take away and give as gifts. The middle layer is sealed in a glass jar for storing biscuits and pastries, which is both hygienic and has a good texture. Freshly baked bread is placed on the lower layer for customers to take conveniently.

Some of the shelves are also equipped with round wooden bread baskets for storing European-style bread and toast, replacing the cold metal shelves and adding a full sense of natural warmth, making the entire space more cozy.

The display logic of the shelves is completely designed in accordance with the browsing habits of customers: from left to right, from low to high, and divided by category. Customers can find the products they want at a glance and will not have the situation of wandering around but not finding the target.
