Internal Support Frame

1m and 1.6m tall figures get top-heavy without proper inner support, so we built a full load-bearing frame inside every statue. Before pouring the fiberglass mold, we weld a full steel pipe frame matched exactly to Labubu’s shape. The frame runs straight from the feet all the way up through the head, with small support bars welded to each arm and ear. This keeps ears from sagging and limbs from bending over time.

We fill the hollow space in the statue’s belly and legs with dense sand rock to shift its center of gravity low, right onto the display base. Even the 1.6m tall large model won’t rock when someone gives it a light push, so it’s safe for family homes with kids and busy retail spaces with constant foot traffic. We don’t seal the statue completely shut. Tiny air holes let air flow through the hollow interior, so trapped moisture won’t bubble the paint when temperatures shift or humidity spikes. Surface Texture & Hand-Painted Finishes

Labubu’s signature fuzzy fur texture and sharp facial details aren’t cheap printed stickers; every texture and color is finished by hand straight on the fiberglass shell. We carve tiny raised and indented fur grain straight into the production mold. When the fiberglass sets, the whole statue gets a 3D fuzzy texture you can feel with your hand, no smooth plastic flat surface here. Separate small molds make the teeth, eye sockets, and inner ear lines, so the seam lines where pieces join are barely visible.

Each paint layer fully air-dries before we add the next coat for a long-lasting finish:
-Epoxy primer: Seals tiny holes in the fiberglass to stop paint from soaking in and peeling off later
-Base color coat: Lays down the main shade – vintage brown, mint blue, or solid matte black
-Fine detail hand paint: Artists paint tiny features by hand, including eye whites, pupils, cheek blush, sharp -fangs, and inner ear skin tones. Machine spray can’t hit these tiny tight spots cleanly.
-Matte clear top coat: Blocks dust and fingerprints from touching the main paint, cuts down shiny plastic glare, and copies the soft matte look of original collectible figures.
