The checkout counter is the "last mile" of a store. A 10-second delay could cause customers in line to abandon their purchases. Have you ever calculated how much extra time a cashier spends searching for items when the countertop isn't wide enough?

1. Compact Dessert Shop Checkout Counter (Suitable for Small Spaces)
Dimensions: 1.2 meters in length, 50 cm in countertop width (enough to accommodate a cash register, barcode scanner, and POS terminal), and 90 cm in height (matching the natural arm height of most people, reducing hand strain). A 20 cm high open shelf underneath the countertop provides easy access to frequently used packaging bags and straws, making processing 3 seconds per order faster than with a drawer.
Anti-theft features: A 15cm high metal shield is installed under the cash register to prevent customers from viewing the cash register screen while waiting in line. A 5cm high barrier is installed on the customer side of the counter to prevent phones and wallets from slipping out during payment.
Expanded functionality: Hooks can be added to the sides (10cm apart) for shopping bags or umbrellas. The top can accommodate a small display rack (30cm high) for small items such as mints and wet wipes to increase chain purchases.
2. Supermarket Multi-Aisle Checkout Counter (Adapted for High Traffic)
Structural Differences: Total length 1.8 meters, divided into a "main checkout area" (60cm wide, housing the dual-screen cash register) and an "auxiliary area" (40cm wide, housing the scale and facial recognition payment device). Under the counter, there are tiered storage areas: the upper drawer holds change and receipts, and the lower door holds shopping bags (sorted by size for quick access).
Efficiency Design: The countertop's edge features a 5° slope, allowing customers to slide their items toward the cashier, reducing the time spent reaching for items. A 10cm high anti-slip surface is installed behind the counter to prevent foot fatigue for cashiers from standing for extended periods.

The glass is made of double-layered, insulated tempered glass (5mm thick) with an anti-fog coating on the inside. This prevents fogging even with large temperature fluctuations inside the display cabinet, ensuring a clear view of the desserts. The display cabinet features three adjustable shelves: the lower shelf holds whole dessert plates, and the upper shelf holds cut samples (with small forks for easy tasting).
For wooden display stands, choose walnut wood color (to match the warm style of dessert shops), and for metal display stands, select matte black (suitable for industrial-style stores). Make a 1cm high guard strip along the edge of the shelf to prevent the packaged desserts from slipping off. Small green plants (such as mint and rosemary) can be hung between the shelves, which not only decorate but also freshen the air.
